How to Apply: Selection of Candidates

The candidates must be:

born before 1st January 1988,
able to communicate both in French and English.

Apart from these language skills, no other academic or professional qualifications are required. The organising committee will establish a list of participants on the basis of the candidates’ personal motivation, trying to reach a balance between male and female participants.

Each application, preferably written in French, must contain:

a letter of motivation,
a CV.

The selection of candidates according to countries will be as follows :

3 participants per country from Member States of the EU member states and the candidate countries (Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey)
1 participant per country from other countries

REGISTRATION CONDITION

Registration fees
The selected candidates must confirm their participation by transfering the sum of :

100 € for citizens of : Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Sweden.

50 € for citizens of : Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and third countries.

During the entire stay, the costs for accommodation, working materials and meals will be taken in charge by the European Institute. Travelling costs will be at the expense of the candidates.

Applications must be sent before 20 June 2008, by e-mail, to europe@cluny.ensam.fr or by post, to “Institut Européen de Cluny, rue Porte de Paris, F 71250 CLUNY.”

The selected candidates will be informed by email before 30 June 2008.

The Summer School is recognised by the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers as a valuable unit for degrees and grants and credited with 4,5 ECTS. A certificate of participation is sent to the participants after the approval of a final report.
